As a black girl this one time I was at the park with my aunt and my little sister so my little sister she wanted to play with a little white boy her age and the white boys mom kept moving her kid away from my little sister and so my aunt said we had to leave the park and I was so annoyed at the white lady who was being racist

Thank you so much for this video. I remember once I was in school(I've finished school now) and one of my classmates was racing me to our next class, kind of? And I got there first, but she wasn't angry or anything she was just In a silly mood and then not knowing she called me a monkey.. this is what she said 'hey get back here you monkey' I gasped because I was surprised, but I didn't get angry because she didn't say It in a rude way she said it in more of a silly way like she didn't know that she can't call me a monkey, I was telling her how she can't call me that and she looked so confused and then the rest of the class came and I told them that she called me a monkey. And then later on the teacher got us all in a circle while another teacher was explaining to her how she can't call me a monkey and blah blah blah, and when I got home I explained it to my mum and she got so angry. And I understand why but I was explaining to her that the way she said that sentence it wasn't meaningful she just didn't know but my mum didn't care she kept getting more angry at me and saying things like 'how can she not know?' And just sat there listening cause no matter what I say she wouldn't change her mind, and now writing this I understood that she really didn't mean it😕 but you know what's funny? I think one year later? One of her friends(boy) he said the N word, and a black girl who was passing by heard it, and she obviously confronted him about it, but he didn't give a f*ck, and instead of correcting him, She backed him up, and then later on in the day she was crying saying that she wasn't racist. Idk what to say about that but I'm not happy that she defended her friend, I mean yes it's your friend but when your friend says or does something bad you shouldn't back them up because they are the one's in the wrong. Anyway the reason why I know about this is because everyone in school was talking about it but they mixed up the story saying that the boy actually called the Black girl the N word, and then I went up to her to see if she was ok and that's when she explained the whole thing. Just like the video said Racism will always repeat...Just don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and remember you are not the one in the wrong THEY ARE. I'm a minor still in elementary about to go to 5th grade and there's this one kid that when I first started 4th grade would call me the n word with his friend and make fun of me every day then one day he punched me in the in my stomach I and also stepped on my legs so I couldn't get up and one of classmates instead of helping or go tell a teacher she did it with him I didn't tell anyone because I was scared about what he would do to me especially when he stabbed my hand with a sharp pencil I wasn't bleeding but I was crying but instead my teacher had us talk it out and say sorry instead of telling his parents about it which Im literally scared of him and I still have trama about it

People tell stories about history to make sure it won’t be repeated. But here we are with racism. It needs to stop and many want it to, but we know it’s not going to. It’s unacceptable for people to act this way. I’ve been called many things that I found offensive but I knew if I didn’t anything I would be the one who got in trouble. It hurts knowing that racism will be a never ending cycle…

Im christian myself, but i dont like most of the christians in our community. So many of us consider themselves christian when they dont love thy neighbor, respect others, or bully someone for religion/being themselves. its just annoying.

My first time experiencing racism was when I was child. Me and my mother were leaving the supermarket. She was just putting the shopping bags in the car when an elderly white man came up to her and said “GET OUTTA MY COUNTRY YOU BLACK N**** TERRORIST!!!!!!!!!! ALL YOU BLACK MUSLIM N**** WOMEN NEED FOR GET OUT OF THIS COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!” And he continued to curse at her. What bummed me as a child is that no one did anything, said anything, no one called the police even after he started yelling death threats at her, even threatening to take her hijab off an r word her. My mother attempted to defend herself, she put me in the car and I had no idea what happened. All I saw after that was that my mother went to the front seat of the car and broke down. She stayed like that for nearly an hour. She didn’t even close the back seat doors where the groceries were. To this day, no one knows about it except me, my mother and anyone who reads this comment.

I don't why people critcize because of skin color. Its not our fault we were born darker, curly/coily hair, bigger noses, etc. Those shouldn't define us. We are more than our skin color, way way way more. They should love us for who we are not how we look.

racism has ruined black peoples lives. it’s all meticulously planned. back during slavery and segregation, black codes forced black people into “ghettos,” and made them resort to drugs and alcohol to escape from the horrible life that we live. taking the bus hurts so much because every day i have to look at other black people who are high/drunk and i just hope and pray that the state of our race gets better. it’s not our fault we’re “ghetto.” i swear, it’s not our fault. :((
